Young Talents Step into the Energy Industry with Enerjisa Distribution Companies’ Enter Program

Pioneering energy transformation in Türkiye with its vision of “A better future for all,” Enerjisa Distribution Companies, i.e., Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, continue to attract university students who would like to shape their careers in the energy industry. Launched in 2017 with 216 young talent graduates so far, “Enter Young Talent” internship program continues to attract great interest. While over 8600 applications from 169 universities were received by the program in its 9th term, interviews were conducted with 350 applicants who met the criteria.

Providing reliable and uninterrupted electricity distribution services to over 22 million consumers in 14 cities in Türkiye via Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, which continue to operate with the goal to offer high-quality, uninterrupted and sustainable energy, Enerjisa Distribution Companies sustain their career programs to attract young talents with potential to the energy industry, and to contribute to employment of young people.

Enter 2024-25 Term Begins with Ideathon Activity

The company offers career development opportunities for the fourth year and post graduate students studying in the related departments of universities as part of “Enter Young Talent” program. In its 9th term in 2024-2025, Enter was given a start with the Ideathon which enables individuals and teams to come together to focus on developing innovative solutions to support creative thinking and collaborations. As in previous years, participants actively participate in business processes and continue their career development processes at full speed. This event not only offer them the opportunity to produce creative ideas, but also provides a significant platform for them to develop their professional competencies.

Offering employment opportunities to young professionals

Proceeding with the pioneering technologies in the sector and human-oriented working principles, Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ offer an opportunity for students to get to know Enerjisa Distribution Companies and the electricity distribution industry more closely as well as discovering their own areas of interest through “Enter,” a structured rotation program in its 9th term covering 2024 - 2025. An opportunity to be employed at Enerjisa Distribution Companies and in the energy sector arises for the candidates who were evaluated positively at the end of the program.

As part of the program, students are selected among the fourth year and post-graduate students studying in departments, including Electrical Engineering, Electrical-Electronics Engineering, Political Sciences, International Relations, Economics, and Industrial Engineering. These students will have the opportunity to experience every position, such as Electricity Distribution Path, Functional Units and Data Management, in the industry for 9 months thanks to the rotation opportunity in positions.

Young talents will be supported in their personal and professional developments during the process by receiving mentorship from talent coaches while the learning journeys of participants will be enhanced through various activities such as training, workshops, meetings with leaders and site visits.
