A FIRST FROM ENERJISA DISTRIBUTION COMPANIES; MOBILE TRAINING CENTRE PROJECT:

Enerjisa Distribution Companies, namely Başkent EDAŞ, Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, continue to provide training for students studying electrical and electronics and branch teachers as part of the vocational training activities in 14 cities where they provide distribution services. The project has been carried out since 2018 and reached more than 5,000 students in 11 cities.

Enerjisa Distribution Companies, namely Başkent EDAŞ, AYEDAŞ and Toroslar EDAŞ, sustain their collaboration with the Ministry of National Education since 2018 as part of the vocational training activities in 14 provinces where the companies provide distribution services. The Mobile Training Center Project enables the electricity distribution industry be promoted to engineers, technicians and technician candidates, and aims to contribute to their development.

The project, which is a first in the industry and developed to support the career development of young people, has reached more than 5,000 students in 11 cities. The project is continued in Istanbul, Hatay, Mersin, Adana, Gaziantep, Ankara, Bartın, Karabük, Çankırı, Kastamonu and Kırıkkale and covers occupational health and safety training as well as technical issues.

Oğuzhan Özsürekci, General Manager of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, stated, “We took a significant step in terms of education by carrying the trainings where our employees are with our mobile training center, which is a first in our industry in Turkey. Our Mobile Training Center, equipped with all the required tools, continues its activities in the field. With the support of our Technical Development teams, we would like to show the working principles of the distribution industry and promote our sector to young people who are the future of the industry. Hence, we launched this project to develop qualified workforce in line with the protocol we signed with the Ministry of National Education in 2018. With this significant project launched by the efforts of a public institution and the private sector, we are proud to have reached more than 5,000 students and to be a part of the training that will improve their development.”
