Together with Ayedaş and Toroslar EDAŞ, Başkent EDAŞ, i.e., the distribution companies of Enerjisa Enerji, which leads energy transformation in Türkiye by placing sustainability to the core of its business strategy, developing projects with a particular focus on people and technology and carrying out investments, achieved many successes in 2024 thanks to its customer- and solution-oriented approach.
Providing service to more than 150,000 users in Çankırı, Başkent EDAŞ sustained its efforts to offer more reliable, uninterrupted and high-quality energy supply to the region with its infrastructure investments and digitalization projects.
Providing services at 2,082 substations and on 10,116-kilometer-long energy line in Çankırı, Başkent EDAŞ continued its repair & maintenance works as well as its investments to supply sustainable and uninterrupted energy. Moreover, the company sustained its efforts in digital transformation and actions to reduce its carbon footprint.
Strengthening the infrastructure in Çankırı to ensure uninterrupted energy
In line with its goal of having a better-lit city and in order to minimize adverse impacts of seasonal and geographical conditions, the company completed the maintenance works for a total of 3,109 lighting fixtures in Atkaracalar, Bayramören, Çerkeş, Eldivan, Ilgaz, Kızılırmak, Korgun, Kurşunlu, Orta, Şabanözü and Yapraklı districts. Moreover, the company strengthened its energy infrastructure with the maintenance works completed at 22 panels, 45 substations and 36 distribution centers. In the same period, the company carried out maintenance works for 1,871-km-long lines, contributing to sustainable energy distribution.
Successfully achieving the investment goals in 2024, Başkent EDAŞ completed the laying of 63-kilometer-long new cables and the installation of 1,124 new lighting fixtures in order to provide uninterrupted and high-quality energy to nearly 150,000 customers that the company serves. Furthermore, the company strengthened its infrastructure by installing 22 new electrical panels and 17 substations. With these maintenance & repair works and investments, Başkent EDAŞ successfully achieved its goals set for 2024.

Leading the digitalization process in the energy industry, Başkent EDAŞ accelerated technology-oriented projects in 2024 to improve its operational processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Mobile Telecommunication and Charging Stations, which were put into use as part of the Disaster and Emergency Wireless Telecommunication System Project of Enerjisa Distribution Companies, contributed significantly to disaster management by enabling uninterrupted communication in times of crisis. Expanding digital solutions in customer services as well, Enerjisa Distribution Companies facilitated users to get faster and more effective support via instant messaging with the ChatVolt application.
